The project was constructed to improve the service of the passenger of the terminal, as well as its operation in general. It includes building facilities for main use of total area 7.270 m2, as well as ancillary areas of over 2.100 m2.
The main facilities include:

  • a large hall of 2,500 m2, paved with Greek marble, in which is taking place the validation of the tickets of passengers and the control - receive of their baggage (check - in), their informing them about the hours of boarding and their waiting.
  • different halls, where it is performed the screening of passengers by detector machines and their final diversion to the ports of embarkation.

Also included administrative office space, stores for offering food, wc facilities etc. There was performed the complete reconstruction of the restaurant Good bye.
The facades of the building covered by aluminum curtain walls. The floors were covered with marbles with complete accuracy because of the very large uniform surfaces. The ceilings are formed from sheet metal systems with complex designs, or perforated metal plates. In the building is set a mechanical floor in which are accumulated most of the cooling equipment and the central control system unit.
To the entire building has placed a central air conditioning system and installed fire detection system which provides automatic disengagement of security doors, which are controlled by a central control system (bms).
Throughout the building also has installed a sophisticated visual announcement which inform passengers of the flight data and boarding time and direct them to the departure gates.
In the auxiliary areas (ground floor semi-open) installed transmission and distribution of luggage, belts of which go to the first floor of the building too, receiving the baggage of passengers from check in.
The Control Tower was rebuilt completely, installed floors of excellent black Greek marble from Edessa, new window frames (Saint Gombain) insulation system-counter mist large glass surface.
Finally, the technological infrastructure of the building is complete with electricity substations, standby generators (E/G), UPS, central air conditioning, underground oil tanks, boiler room with gas boilers, etc.
